POSITIVE
AND FUN TRAINING TECHNIQUES
Our
goal is to teach you to communicate with your dog in a manner the dog
understands. Using positive motivation techniques learn how to
teach self control, manners and simple tricks. We encourage the
entire family to attend training sessions.
PUPPY
PRE-SCHOOL
A
different topic covered each week including ABC's of puppy parenting,
house training, nipping, jumping, and appropriate games to play with
your dog with plenty of time for socializing.
MANNERS
TRAINING
Instruction
includes sit, down, stay, wait, leave-it, walk-on-lead,
come-when-called and simple tricks using positive motivation. We
also include help with behavior problems, health care, grooming tips
and house-training.
CANINE
GOOD CITIZEN
Reinforce
basic manners with games. American Kennel Club Canine Good
Citizen certification test given on completion.
AGILITY
An
obstacle course for dogs is an activity that is fun and healthy for
both dogs and their owners. A good confidence builder for shy
dogs and energy burner for active dogs.
THERAPY
DOG
"Both
ends of the lead" are taught how to conduct visits to nursing
homes, day-care centers and schools. Therapy Dogs International
evaluation given on completion.
